Job description

Master of Arts in Translation and Interpretation Programme (MTI) at NTU is seeking experienced part-time instructors who excel at teaching courses on translation, localisation, project and data management. A proven track record of practical experience in handling corporations and clients at multinational, regional and local levels, with the knowledge of applying cutting edge project management tools and software are preferred. The instructor’s responsibilities include designing the course syllabus, conducting lectures and student consultation, designing assignments, administering assessment and grading, and providing constructive feedback to support student learning.

Requirements:

Demonstrable experience in teaching and curriculum development in higher education.

Candidates should have a master level of T&I (Translation and Interpreting) degree and/or postgraduate level degree of project & data management. Preference will be given to candidates who have strong industry experience in translation projects management. We are also looking for candidates who possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a strong commitment to fostering a diverse and inclusive learning environment.

The successful candidate is expected to use both Chinese and English as the medium of instruction and to commence duty as soon as possible.
