Job description
The Frank R. Seaver College of Science and Engineering at Loyola Marymount University is seeking lecturers to teach undergraduate courses in biochemistry and chemistry. There may not be openings at this time, but your application will be kept on file. Current applications will be reviewed as openings occur. The position, when needed, is assumed to be a one-semester appointment, normally to teach 1-2 courses.

Typical responsibilities:  prepare and distribute a course syllabus; prepare and lead class and/or laboratory sessions; hold regular office hours and answer student questions; develop, distribute and/or grade materials, homework, quizzes, and other course materials; grade exams and assessments; maintain a submit class records; attend meetings and trainings, as needed, and comply with all university standards and requirements. Candidates must be enthusiastic about undergraduate education and be able to teach to a diverse student body.
