Part-Time Barista

Percolate is an exciting new tea brand in Los Angeles.  The first brick and mortar location is opening in West Los Angeles soon.  Be one of the first employees at this tea first contemporary cafe.  Don't worry we serve coffee and espresso too!

We are looking for high-energy people who like to work hard in a fun/casual environment, have a positive attitude, excellent customer service skills and an outgoing personality. Currently we have a part time Barista opportunity at Percolate in West LA on Santa Monica Blvd.  Candidates must be fully flexible to work weekdays, weekends, and evening shifts.  

Start Date: Open until filled

Specific Responsibilities & Duties:

• Welcomes and connects with customers as they enter and leave Percolate

• Responds to customers needs and says thank you to every customer

• Discover customer needs and appropriately suggests product with every customer to
  enhance service and meet sales goals

• Prepares a variety of customer beverage orders to Percolate standards

• Performs equipment maintenance in accordance with preventive maintenance checklist

• Follows cash handling and register policies

• Follows inventory stocking and recording guidelines

• Follow store policies and procedures for operational flow at each station

• Performs cleaning tasks in accordance with the employee handbook and cleaning standards

• Maintains customer service area and equipment in a clean and appealing manner

• Learns and demonstrates all performance standards by completing Initial Store Training

• Maintain clean and Safe Environment at all times
  

• Comply with health and safety regulations

• High School Diploma

• Available to work weekdays, weekends and evenings

• Positive attitude and strong work ethic

• Previous serving/barista experience is an asset but not required

• Excellent customer service and communication skills

• Self-motivated and ability to work independently and in a team setting

• Physical ability to perform required tasks

• Ability to communicate with managers, other employees, and customers

• Previous experience in a fast pace and/or restaurant environment is preferred
