Description:

• This contract position will provide support to the Futurewei Technologies, Inc. in North America legal team. The job will focus on providing support in Export Control process, documentation and training and assist the Senior Export Control Administrator in:

• Developing and implementing solid export/import compliance policies and procedures;

• Reviewing and classifying Futurewei’s projects, technology, products and software;

• Developing, updating and conducting training and education programs to increase awareness of export/import control compliance;

• Establishing internal audit processes and conducting internal audits; - Reviewing and processing foreign national project license requests.

• The position will also support the review of NDAs and technical cooperation agreements.

• Required Experience: 3-6 years paralegal-level experience; significant exposure to export control regulations; solid knowledge of IT and telecommunication technology. Not required by desirable: Ability to classify product, technology and software under both the EAR and HTSUS; Mandarin (speaking, reading and writing)
