The company is seeking passionate, results-oriented, and innovative paralegal to won and deliver on a myriad of tasks. The position is based in Santa Clara but will influence our global sites including Munich; Hong Kong; and China. 

FMC Auto North America is looking for its first paralegal.  The company is seeking a passionate, results-oriented, and innovative paralegal to own and deliver on a myriad of tasks. In this role, you will gain valuable exposure to many areas of FMC’s businesses, work with people of all levels, be responsible for, own and deliver projects, and be a champion for positive change. The position is based in Santa Clara but will influence our global sites including Munich; Hong Kong; and China. 

Types of projects

-           Specific projects including negotiating, drafting and closing NDAs;

-           Working with business clients to do initial intake of legal requests;

-           Managing contract templates;

-           Managing and maintaining online systems, including contracts databases.

-           Processing law firm and other 3rd-party invoices

-           Working with business clients to define user requirements, and develop workflows, processes, and programs that address the company’s legal needs and that scale with the company’s growth. 

-           Manage multiple calendars and schedules. Arrange special events and make travel arrangements for the department head and/or staff members

-           Coordinate project proposals and recommend updates to department documents 

-           Write complex and detailed correspondence for senior managers/directors using business acumen; independently update department documents as needed

-           Monitor and identify administrative budget issues to include billing and payment authorization for planned expenses and special events
