Painter - 2nd Shift

Overview
We are seeking a skilled Painter to join our dynamic team in a manufacturing facility. The ideal candidate will have a strong attention to detail and a passion for delivering high-quality finishes. This role involves material movement, preparing surfaces, applying paint, and ensuring that all work meets the highest standards of quality and safety.

Duties

• Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and filling holes or imperfections.
• Move materials into, around, and out of the paint bay using tow motors, forklifts, combi lifts, cranes, etc.
• Apply paint using various techniques such as spraying, rolling, or brushing to achieve desired finishes.
• Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively to complete painting tasks efficiently.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area in compliance with safety regulations.
• Operate forklifts when necessary to transport materials and finished products within the warehouse.

Skills

• Proficient in the use of hand tools and power tools relevant to painting tasks.
• Experience with Material movement equipment (forklifts, cranes, tow motors, combi lifts, etc.) required.
• Mechanical knowledge with the ability to understand assembly processes and techniques.
• Experience working in a manufacturing facility or factory setting is preferred.
• Strong attention to detail with an eye for color matching and finishing techniques.
• Familiarity with safety protocols related to painting and working in industrial environments.
