Body Shop Paint Technician

Pay

  • Flat Rate: $19–$34/flat rate hour, depending on:
    • Experience
    • Productivity
    • Performance
  • Eligible for production/productivity bonuses and other short- and/or long-term incentives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform automotive paint repairs according to manufacturer, insurance, and company standards.
  • Prepare and paint repaired vehicle parts.
  • Inspect completed paint work for quality.
  • Track repair time and document completed work.
  • Maintain a clean, organized work area.
  • Use paint materials efficiently.
  • Keep customer vehicles clean.
  • Attend training to stay current on repair techniques.
  • Follow all safety procedures and company policies.
  • Communicate effectively with coworkers and management.

Qualifications

  • At least 2 years of automotive body/collision repair experience.
  • Knowledge of body shop equipment and tools.
  • Basic mechanical knowledge of automobiles.
  • Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Must be 18 years or older.
