Paediatric Occupational Therapist

North Perth, Western Australia, Australia on site Until 9/27/2026 First posted July 29, 2026 Last posted July 29, 2026
Job description

If you chose paediatrics because you genuinely enjoy working with children and want a role where you can slow down, build trust with families and see real progress over time—this could be exactly what you’ve been looking for.

This is a privately owned clinic in Perth with a strong reputation for delivering thoughtful, family-centred care. The team is approachable, supportive and clinically focused, without the pressure of unrealistic targets or rushed sessions. You’ll be joining a practice that values how you work, not just how many clients you can see.

What your days will look like
You’ll be working with a consistent paediatric caseload, supporting children across early intervention, developmental delays, sensory processing and functional skills. Sessions are structured to allow you to actually engage with your clients—not just move from one appointment to the next.

There’s flexibility in how you run your day, with a mix of clinic-based sessions and, if you enjoy it, school or community visits. Your caseload can also be tailored to your interests over time.

Why this role feels different

  • You’ll have the time and support to do meaningful work, not just hit numbers
  • Your clinical interests are genuinely considered when building your caseload
  • You’ll be part of a team that shares ideas and supports each other day-to-day
  • There’s flexibility in how your week is structured

What’s on offer

  • Competitive base salary with performance incentives
  • Flexible working options (full-time or part-time)
  • Dedicated admin support so you can focus on clinical work
  • Professional development allowance + ongoing mentorship
  • Clear pathway for growth within a stable private practice
  • Supportive onboarding to help you settle in quickly

About you

  • AHPRA registered Occupational Therapist (or eligible)
  • Passion for paediatrics and working closely with families
  • Warm, engaging and confident communicator
  • Open to learning, growing and contributing to a team environment

Why Perth?

If you’re looking for a paediatric role that feels more personal, more flexible and more aligned with why you chose OT in the first place, we’d love to share more details. Please feel free to reach out to Camille at [email protected].
