The Packaging Tech IV Sugar Warehouse position is responsible for maintaining cleanliness in the Weibul bin, concrete silos, bulk loading and sugar conveying areas to safeguard product quality.

Principle accountabilities include but are not limited to:

• Required to clean floors, walls, and equipment in Weibul bins, concrete silos, bulk loading and sugar conveying equipment.

• Use knowledge and understanding of current Good Manufacturing Practices as they apply to storage of food product in performance of all duties.

• Assist in changing of dust collector filters, mechanical repairs and other such work as needed to keep the sugar storage and conveying systems in working condition.

• Perform other duties as required.

• Required to work overtime as needed.

Job Requirements:

• High School diploma or a GED certificate is required. 

• Individuals are required to successfully pass a Safety Screen that evaluates their ability to safely execute duties and tasks of this position.

• Able to read, write and communicate effectively.

Physical/Cognitive Requirements:

Must have ability to stand/walk, push/pull, bend/stop, kneel, crawl or sit frequently. Must have ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds occasionally, and up to 40 pounds frequently.
