PA-d2m-279 Composite Quality Engineer (M/F)

d2m is seeking a Composite Quality Engineer to support a cutting-edge wind propulsion project for one of its clients in the shipping industry. The role will focus on ensuring the highest standards of quality during composite manufacturing processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure quality implementation and monitoring of composite manufacturing for prototype elements and two (2) blades of the first project.
• Oversee the correct application of dry fibre and core layers in main moulds and structural parts (spars, bulkheads) according to lay-up plans.
• Verify compliance during infusion phases of main and structural parts.
• Ensure structural bonding operations are performed according to technical specifications.
• Monitor main mould temperature during post-cure phases.
• Control blade demoulding operations, ensuring no unusual stress is applied.

Requirements

• Regulatory: ISO 9001:2015, composites standards, carbon fibre, epoxy resin.
• Technical: QA/QC in manufacturing facilities, composite production management, manufacturing expertise.
• Experience: Knowledge of the Asian (China) manufacturing ecosystem.
• Languages: English Fluent, Mandarin is a strong asset
• Additional: Strong auditing capability, nonconformity management skills.
