The center provides short-term, intensive psychiatric intervention, stabilization and treatment for and adults and adolescents with acute psychiatric illnesses, dual diagnosis and substance abuse issues in a community setting. Through a multidisciplinary approach, family involvement is emphasized as well as collaboration with the patient's community network.
