Partnering with parents and school communities, at Junior Adventures Group (JAG) our goal is to help today's children navigate their tomorrow by supporting children's development through play in fun, engaging environments. We live and breathe our company values every day by being considerate, passionate, courageous, and making a difference.

Whether you're experienced in the Education or childcare sector, have done some babysitting, this is the first time you're thinking about working with children, or anything in between, THIS is the role for you!

Our Outside School Hours Care service, St Anthony's Wanneroo OSHClub, is looking for a passionate Permanent Educator to assist the service and provide engaging programs for our primary-age children. This is a permanent part-time opportunity offering 12 hours per week (guaranteed minimum).

You will work across split shifts to support the service’s operating hours of Monday – Friday 2:30pm – 5:30pm (Stay and Play Program). You can pick up extra hours some mornings and during the school holidays too!

About the role

Working in a team of Educators, you will have support of a Coordinator to seamlessly run before and after school care for children aged 4-12 years:

  • Facilitate an engaging child-centered program full of exciting experiences such as STEM, sport, cooking, art and craft - whatever you and the children are into!
  • Foster healthy relationships with children, the school, community, and parents
  • Work with a team of skilled Educators onsite

Who are we looking for?

We can teach you about the job and sector, but a few basics you need to have:

  • Enjoy working with kids
  • Strong and clear communication
  • Team player with a desire to become a service leader
  • Hold or willing to obtain a national police check (we'll pay for it!) and a state check for working with children
  • Australian work rights

What's in it for you?

  • Lucrative Employee Referral Program - earn up to $1,000 for an employee referral via Care Friends
  • Discounted Health Insurance - get a discount off your premium with Bupa
  • Discounted Fitness and Wellbeing - discounted gym membership at over 400 Gyms/Studios, up to 50% off fitness & wellbeing benefits through Wherefit
  • Exclusive discounts for your family to attend our services, plus 1000's of savings on various lifestyle choices
  • Recognition, awards, career growth
  • We're committed to ensuring our employees are included in the Early Childhood Worker Retention Grant and have applied to participate.

At Junior Adventures Group, child safety and child safeguarding principles are our top priorities. Our recruitment process includes thorough background checks and screenings to ensure the wellbeing of all children in our care.

We welcome individuals from all backgrounds, abilities, and identities, including Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people.
