Job description

Our Outside School Hours Care service Beaconsfield, is looking for a passionate Assistant Coordinator to assist with managing the service and providing engaging programs for our primary-age children. This is a permanent part-time opportunity offering 30 hours per week  to assist with leading a team of passionate Educators. 

You'll work split shifts, supporting our Monday-Friday hours: 6:30am-9:00am (Rise then Shine) and 3pm-6:30pm (Stay and Play). During the school holidays we run Holiday HQ from 6:30am - 6:30pm!

About the role 

With the backing of a dedicated state-specific office and the mentorship of regional managers who visit regularly, you’ll be empowered to shine in your role while developing your skills as a leader. It’s your chance to make a real impact while being part of a supportive, high-energy team! 

  • Develop and facilitate an engaging child-centered program full of exciting experiences such as STEM, sport, cooking, art and craft - whatever you and the children are into! 
  • Foster healthy relationships with children, the school, community, and parents 
  • Lead a team of Educators onsite, including roster management 
  • Manage the day-to-day operations of your service including compliance and administration

We can teach you about the job and sector, but a few basics you need to have: 

✔️ Enjoys working with children and making a positive impact  
✔️ Communicates clearly and confidently  
✔️ Works well in a team and aspires to grow into a leadership role  
✔️ Holds (or is willing to obtain) a National Police Check and a Working with Children check  
✔️ National Child Safety Training completion prior to onboarding (via Gecko)   
✔️ Obtained or studying towards a relevant qualification to work with kids in OSHC per ACECQA
