The Patient Care Coordinator serves as the first point of contact for all incoming referrals, patients, and referral sources. This role is essential in creating a welcoming first impression by providing exceptional customer service with professionalism, warmth, and efficiency.

Responsibilities include:

  • Answer incoming calls from patients and referral sources in a courteous, timely, and professional manner.
  • Schedule new patient appointments and process incoming referrals accurately.
  • Provide information regarding Rehab Associates' services, clinic locations, and registration process.
  • Maintain a thorough understanding of insurance trends, direct access regulations, referral sources, FOTO, and the Rehab Associates website.
  • Accurately collect and enter patient information while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Protect patient confidentiality at all times by adhering to HIPAA regulations and company privacy policies.
  • Collaborate with clinic staff to ensure a seamless patient experience from the first interaction.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Exceptional customer service and communication skills, both in person and over the phone.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
  • Positive attitude with a team-oriented mindset.
  • Proficient computer and data entry skills.
  • Passion for providing an outstanding patient experience.
