The successful candidate will be responsible for diagnosing and surgically treating diseases, injuries, and defects of the oral and maxillofacial region. This includes expertise in dental and facial trauma surgery, orthognathic surgeries, dental implants, and reconstructive procedures.
As a pivotal member of our team, you will provide comprehensive patient care from initial consultation through recovery, working collaboratively with dentistry and medical colleagues. We value patient-centered care, surgical excellence, and a commitment to continuous learning.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct detailed patient evaluations, including clinical and radiographic assessments.
- Develop and implement tailored surgical treatment plans.
- Perform oral and maxillofacial surgical procedures with precision and adherence to safety protocols.
- Manage preoperative planning and postoperative care to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to provide holistic patient care.
- Educate patients and their families on procedures, risks, and post-surgical care.
- Maintain thorough and accurate medical records in compliance with healthcare regulations.
Requirements
- Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry (DMD) from an accredited institution.
- Completion of a valid residency program in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery.
- Board certification and an active state medical license.
- A minimum of 5 years of clinical experience in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery.
- Proficiency in surgical techniques including trauma surgery, reconstructive surgery, and dental implants.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
- Commitment to continuing professional education and patient-centered care.
