Oracle DBA with GoldenGate Expertise (Goverment Project)

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Oracle Database Administrator (DBA) with strong expertise in Oracle GoldenGate to manage, maintain, and optimize mission-critical database systems. The ideal candidate will be responsible for database performance, high availability, replication, and disaster recovery strategies.

Key Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and maintain Oracle database environments (11g/12c/19c or higher)
• Administer and support Oracle GoldenGate for real-time data replication
• Design and implement high availability and disaster recovery solutions
• Monitor database performance and proactively tune SQL queries and systems
• Manage backup and recovery using RMAN
• Perform database patching, upgrades, and migrations
• Troubleshoot database issues, replication lag, and data inconsistencies
• Ensure database security, compliance, and access control
• Collaborate with application teams for deployment and performance optimization
• Maintain documentation for database configurations and processes

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience as an Oracle DBA
• Strong hands-on experience with Oracle GoldenGate (installation, configuration, troubleshooting)
• Expertise in Oracle RAC, Data Guard, and ASM
• Proficiency in SQL, PL/SQL, and performance tuning
• Experience with backup and recovery strategies (RMAN)
• Knowledge of Linux/Unix environments
• Familiarity with OEM (Oracle Enterprise Manager)
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
