Title: Oracle DBA (Shift)

Location: Raleigh, NC 

Duration: 3 to 6 Months contract to hire 

Rate: $40/hr on w2 Max

Job Description

Basic Qualifications: 

Bachelor Degree or an additional 4 years of experience lieu of degree 

Minimum of 7 years of Oracle production support DBA experience; specifically, RMAN, OEM, and RAC 

Familiarity with architecture, both logical and physical design 

Must be either a US Citizen or Green Card holder 

Must be able to obtain a position of public trust security clearance

Preferred Qualifications: 

Local to the RDU / Research Triangle area (this position does not provide relocation assistance) 

Experience with Dataguard and ASM 

Oracle certification strongly preferred 

Experience with Oracle 12c 

Bachelor Degree or an additional 4 years of experience lieu of degree 

NOTE: This is a shift position and can be part-time for the right candidate if desired. The mandatory times needed are Sat 7pm-Sun 7am and Sun 7pm-Mon 7am. There will also be 4-5 hours of work schedule on Fridays for briefing on the weekend’s needs. For a full time employee mandatory days are Sat 7pm-Sun 7am and Sun 7pm-Mon 7am, Friday 4pm-12pm, Mon/Tues 4pm-12pm. Schedule can be somewhat flexible. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking for extra work.
