Duties And Responsibilities:

  • Support product design development, including construction of optomechanical and illuminated elements;

  • Light simulations;

  • Radiometric and photometric measurements at modern optical laboratory;

  • Evaluate vision system performance;

  • Support at validation tests as well as production process;

  • Design of light source focusing elements for camera systems;

  • Review customer requirements

Basic Requirements:

  • Student of Physics, Optics, Photonics or similar;

  • Familiarity with optics, radiometry, photometry;

  • Basic knowledge of the aberrations of optical systems;

  • Good verbal and written communication skills (English)

Additional requirements (would be an asset):

  • Experience in design of optical components and/or systems

  • Experience with ray trace analysis software : (LightTools, Zemax, Imatest);

  • Experience with CAD software
