Role Summary
The Operations Manager is responsible for overseeing end-to-end fleet maintenance operations across multiple locations. This role focuses on ensuring high service quality, operational efficiency, and strong team performance in a fast-paced, multi-site environment. You will lead daily operations, manage technical teams, and drive continuous improvement initiatives to support scaling operations.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead and oversee daily fleet maintenance operations, ensuring vehicles are serviced, maintained, and ready for use
- Monitor operational performance, track KPIs, and ensure service levels are consistently met or exceeded
- Identify process gaps and implement continuous improvement initiatives to optimize efficiency and reduce downtime
- Recruit, onboard, train, and manage technicians and operational staff across locations
- Provide leadership, coaching, and performance management to ensure high team productivity and engagement
- Act as the primary point of contact for internal and external stakeholders, ensuring clear communication and alignment
- Oversee scheduling and resource allocation to support 24/7 operations where required
- Ensure compliance with local labor laws, health & safety standards, and relevant automotive regulations
- Manage operational budgets, control costs, and support financial planning activities
- Support expansion into new locations by establishing processes, teams, and operational readiness
Requirements
- 8+ years of experience in fleet operations, automotive service management, or a related field
- Proven experience managing multi-site operations or large-scale teams
- Strong understanding of service delivery, KPIs, and operational performance management
- Experience in 24/7 or high-availability operational environments
- Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to manage, motivate, and develop teams
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
- Financial awareness with experience in budgeting and cost control
- Experience with electric vehicles or advanced automotive technologies is a strong advantage
- Fluent English required; German mandatory; Spanish is a plus
