Heidelberg Materials Australia is one of the country’s leading suppliers of heavy building materials to the construction industry. We produce aggregates, including crushed rock, sand, gravel, and road base from a number of locations across Australia.

We are currently seeking a self-motivated and enthusiastic Quarry Operator to join the team at our Wollert Quarry in VIC, 45 mins north of Melbourne CBD.

This is a full-time position with overtime and weekend work according to business needs.
 

In your new role with us, you will:

• Carry out day to day operation and maintenance of various vehicles, plant, and equipment

• Operate a heavy vehicle (excavator/front end loader/dump truck). If no ticket, Heidelberg Materials Australia will provide training and certification to get ticket for the right candidate

• Perform general labour activities including cleaning, hosing and shovelling
   

This role is a great fit for you if you have:

• Solid interpersonal and communication skills

• Total commitment to risk management and OH&S

• A positive work ethic and ability to work within Heidelberg Materials values and philosophies

• Excavator/Front End Loader/Dump truck ticket is advantageous

• Experience in either Quarrying or Mining

• The ability to work unsupervised and as part of a team
