Operator - Lead

Position: ASC Fan Case Value Stream, 1st Shift (Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM)

 

 

Job Purpose: 

 

The Production Team Lead plays a pivotal role in overseeing the daily operations of the production floor, ensuring efficiency, safety, and quality in manufacturing processes. This position involves leading a team of manufacturing technicians, coordinating schedules, and managing workflow to achieve production targets. Additionally, the Production Team Lead is responsible for quality assurance, implementing continuous improvement initiatives, and maintaining a safe working environment.

• Responsible for all aspects related to Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost and Team productivity (SQDCT) of the assigned department. 

• Support daily activities outlined by the Supervisor to ensure the team meets quality and production objectives. 

• Possess comprehensive knowledge of manufacturing processes to facilitate workflow and address any challenges efficiently. 

• Monitor and optimize production processes, implementing continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and quality. 

• Assist with resolving any safety, quality or production issues identified in the department. 

• Communicate production updates, issues, and performance metrics to supervisors and management.
