Operations Engineer-6th of October

Tagaddod is pioneering in the field of waste collection technology. We are looking for talented individuals to help elevate our operations to the next level.

This position combines responsibilities in Engineering and Quality Control. We seek an individual with strong leadership capabilities and a willingness to tackle challenges. This role will be based at our site in October City.

Responsibilities:

• Coordinate and supervise all installations and refurbishments at the October site.
• Lead daily briefings with warehouse operators and report to the site director on stock levels and issues.
• Ensure health and safety, hygiene, and security standards are maintained in the work environment.
• Examine and test raw materials and supplies delivered to the site against acceptance criteria.
• Maintain up-to-date stock control systems and accurate inventories.
• Oversee planned maintenance of vehicles, machinery, and equipment.
• Supervise warehouse operators and external contractors.
• Coordinate the use of automated and digital systems as needed.
• Track and report key functional metrics aimed at reducing expenses and improving effectiveness.

Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in operational or industrial environments.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, in Chemical, Petroleum, or Mechanical Engineering.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to work at both strategic and tactical levels.
• Team player with a proactive approach.
• Living in or near 6th of October City.
