Operating Room Assistant I - Surgical Services - PT - Days - JDCH

Summary:

Creates a sanitary, safe environment and assist nurses in patient care for the Operating Room (OR).
** Physically demanding role; 3 - 8 hour shifts; no weekends; able to take Call **

Responsibilities:

Assists with moving surgical equipment.Cleans the OR surgical suites and other assigned areas daily, including collecting and removing trash, changing linens and sanitizing all surfaces.Assists nurse with providing basic patient care.Stocks supplies in surgical suites as necessary or designated.Assists with transporting specimens and instruments.
