$28.91 - $42.37

SHIFT DIFFERENTIALS/PREMIUMS:

Weekend & Holiday Shifts: Yes

On Call Shifts: No

Shift Differentials:

  • Evening - $3.00/hour

  • Night - $5.00/hour

  • Weekend - $4.50/hour

  • Pharm Night - $8.50/hour

Premiums:

  • Standby - $4.00/hour

  • Lead - $3.25/hour

  • Per Diem - 15% (on base, in lieu of benefits)

  • Certification - $2.00/hour

  • Trainer - $2.00/hour

  • Student Coord - $2.00/hour, 2+ = $3.25/hour

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Accurately performs pharmaceutical calculations and prepares intravenous admixtures, including hazardous drugs, based on OMCC protocol/procedures. Ensures compliance with USP 797 and USP 800, including routine cleaning, environmental sampling, and daily documentation. Maintains inventory control of pharmaceuticals and supplies. Performs daily charge review. Delivers supplies. Maintains records. Assists with training new staff. Performs clinic and nursing unit inspections. Performs other duties as required for quality control and regulatory compliance. 

EDUCATION

  • Graduate of a Washington State Board of Pharmacy approved Pharmacy Technician training program.

EXPERIENCE

  • Prefer minimum of 1 year experience compounding with aseptic technique in both vertical and horizontal laminar airflow hoods, experience handling hazardous drugs, experience with hospital drug distribution systems (i.e. Pyxis), hospital computer systems (i.e. Epic), and other hospital related systems.

LICENSURE/CREDENTIALS

  •     Certification as a Pharmacy Technician in Washington State required. 
  •     National certification as a Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) preferred.
