Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Duties and responsibilities include (but are not limited to) the following:

  • Participate in the education of OMS-1 & OMS-2 students at PCOM Georgia and PCOM South Georgia.  

  • Contribute to the education of Osteopathic medical students in lecture, laboratory and clinical settings.

  • Supervise and teach OMS-3 & OMS-4 students, as well as, Osteopathic family medicine residents assigned to the service.  

  • Assist in the future development and participation of an off-site inpatient NMM / OMM specialty service.

  • Evaluate student & resident progress in the development of appropriate medical knowledge.  Communicate these evaluations to the student or resident and administrative/faculty members as appropriate.  

  • Serve in leadership and membership capacities on college, faculty and hospital committees.  

  • Other duties as assigned.


 

Position Requirements

Education

  • D.O. or M.D. degree and Board Eligibility or Board Certification in Neuromusculoskeletal Medicine and Osteopathic Manipulative Medicine or its equivalent.


 

Experience

  • Two years teaching Osteopathic Manipulative Medicine in lecture, lab and small group settings.

 

 Certifications, Licenses, Registrations

  • Maintain active licenses and board certification in the specialty.

Compensation will be commensurate with the candidate’s experience, education, and the responsibilities of the role.

The referenced salary range is based on PCOM good faith belief at the time of posting.
