Mandatory Reference Checking Scheme (“MRC”) for Hong Kong

The Mandatory Reference Checking Scheme is a framework to facilitate Authorized Institutions (“AIs”) to bilaterally obtain reference information during their recruitment process for certain positions, such that misconduct information in an individual’s previous employments can be provided to AIs to inform their employment decisions.

Job Responsibilities:

• Execute daily settlement and operations for investment/equities business with high quality output and accuracy • Ensure timely reconciliation of G/L Accounts, Inventory with all custodians and commission and rebate is done regularly • Handle corporate action and corporate event in a timely manner and follow-up with business units for customers’ reply, if required • Execute transfer of security inventory with custodians • Assist in system enhancement and UAT testing • Assist in automation of some manual work processes and develop/review procedure • Take up other ad hoc tasks and projects as assigned • Act as the mentor to the new joiner

Requirements:

• Degree holder in Business Administration / Finance or related subjects is preferred ;

• Preferably with 1 year working experience in investment product settlement (e.g. Unit Trust, Bonds, Funds, Structure notes and etc.) ;

• Basic knowledge of financial products and G/L account reconciliation;

• Proficient in MS Office;

• Prudent and attentive to details;

• Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese.
