A DAY IN LIFE

As a start up, you can expect your days to be pretty varied. Multitasking is normal, and sometimes, your skills or natural talents will be leveraged to support other business priorities. That said, the bulk of your working hours should involve you having to:

    • Prioritize TNX shipments and ensure they are released before 1:00 PM.
    • Follow up on all previously held shipments, especially Paragon and Pomelo cargo.
    • Upon lorry arrival at the loading bay, take clear photos and share them in the GTR group.
    • Verify the actual shipment piece count against the Delivery Order (DO) and SK system.
    • If any shipment shortage is identified: Update the remarks in ONE-T. Amend the DO. Inform the driver immediately.
    • Ensure all shipments are scanned in AF and WC, and confirm the delivery status is updated in the system while the truck is still at the bay. If there are any Pending or SLDD shipments, remove the relevant TO/TN numbers from the pending list before updating the status to "DLV OK."
    • Coordinate with GTR to revise the DO whenever required.
    • Submit the driver's details and shipment handover information before the end of each shift.
    • Send the SLDD email to GTR and TO. If there are no SLDD shipments, send a confirmation accordingly.
    • Request a truck upgrade whenever necessary, especially for shipments offloaded from previous flights.
    • Send a pre-alert to the GTR Ramp Team before the end of the shift to support the next operation

Requirements

  • Able to work on rotating shifts, including weekends and public holidays.
  • Physically fit and comfortable working in a warehouse environment.
  • Basic communication skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia.
  • Basic computer skills, including typing and preparing reports.
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Detail-oriented and able to follow operational procedures accurately.
  • Prior experience in logistics, warehouse, or air cargo operations is an advantage.

At Teleport, we’re all about creating a diverse and inclusive team where everyone feels valued. We believe that different perspectives make us stronger and help us do logistics better across Southeast Asia. We welcome people from all walks of life and celebrate what makes each of us unique.
