Mandatory Reference Checking Scheme (“MRC”) for Hong Kong

The Mandatory Reference Checking Scheme is a framework to facilitate Authorized Institutions (“AIs”) to bilaterally obtain reference information during their recruitment process for certain positions, such that misconduct information in an individual’s previous employments can be provided to AIs to inform their employment decisions.

Job Responsibilities:

• Execute centralized branch operations including transaction processing, document verification, sales support and compliance checks.
• Support the migration of branch-level tasks to the team for centralization and efficiency.
• Work collaboratively with branches to standardize operating procedures in the network.
• Handle inquiries from branches and assist to solve daily operations issues.
• Provide feedback and recommendations on service quality and work processes in order to enhance overall efficiency of branch operations
• Deliver professional support and services to customers by addressing their questions and needs over the phone.
• Ensure that all policies and procedures are followed to mitigate risks associated with financial crimes.
• Support frontline and adhere to anti-money laundering and counter terrorist financing controls in accordance with regulatory standards and CNCBI policies.
• Clearly communicate with the internal customers regarding their needs and expectations through active listening and proactive questioning skills.

Requirements:

• Secondary education or above
• Preferably 2 year experience in retail banking.
• Knowledge in banking products and services
• Self-motivated with good sales and service orientation
• Good interpersonal and communication skills
• Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese (including Putonghua)
