- Quote Management: Prepare and respond to spot and long-term ocean freight pricing requests (FCL/LCL) within approved thresholds, providing best-fit solutions and market-driven pricing.
- Provide pricing support to the U.S. organization for global ocean opportunities in alignment with thresholds established by the Ocean Product Director.
- Process agent requests for U.S. export shipments, ensuring accuracy and timely turnaround.
- Negotiate and procure rates with carriers and co-loaders for applicable volumes within approved thresholds, as needed.
- Collaborate with overseas colleagues and agents to develop complete end-to-end pricing.
- Maintain WebCargo - Catapult and internal pricing modules to ensure accurate status updates and reporting.
- Stay current on industry trends and ocean product updates (weekly and monthly) to support competitive pricing decisions.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

- Demonstrated attention to detail
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with sound analytical abilities.
- Strategic mindset with strong business analysis capabilities.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and related productivity tools.
- Working knowledge of other software as needed (e.g., WebCargo, SharePoint, Outlook).
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
- 2 years’ experience in ocean pricing.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
- Talking, hearing and using hands to operate a computer keyboard, mouse and other computer components
- Sitting for extended periods of time
- Vision abilities required by this job include close vision and the ability to adjust focus
- Job may require regular and punctual attendance as well as presence on-site at the assigned work location
