Responsibilities

• Provide direct therapy services under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist

• Assist with implementing treatment plans to improve functional independence and mobility

• Accurately document patient progress and treatment sessions

• Collaborate with therapists, nursing staff, and other care team members

• Educate residents and caregivers on therapeutic exercises and safety techniques

• Support discharge planning and caregiver training

Qualifications

• Current California COTA license in good standing

• Experience in a skilled nursing or long-term care setting preferred, but not required

• Strong communication and time-management skills

• A compassionate, resident-first mindset

• Ability to work effectively in a team-based environment
