Nursing Practitioner

We are hiring a dedicated Nurse Practitioner for an onsite contract position. In this role, you’ll provide direct, hands-on medical care to patients within our rehabilitation facility. You’ll work closely with a team of healthcare professionals to perform physical exams, interpret lab results, create individualized treatment plans, and guide patients through their recovery journey.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct in-person physical exams and medical assessments
• Diagnose and treat acute and chronic conditions in a rehab setting
• Order and interpret lab tests and diagnostic results
• Prescribe medications and monitor patient outcomes
• Develop, implement, and revise personalized treatment plans
• Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and facility staff to coordinate care
• Maintain accurate, compliant, and timely medical documentation
• Provide patient education and support throughout the recovery process

Requirements

• Active, unrestricted Nurse Practitioner license in Louisiana or New Jersey
• Master’s degree in Nursing with a Nurse Practitioner specialization
• Strong skills in patient care, diagnostics, and treatment planning
• Comfortable working collaboratively in a fast-paced clinical environment
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
• Experience in rehabilitation or post-acute care is a plus
