Wellstar Medical Group is seeking a full-time Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our new Austell Pediatrics practice in Austell, Georgia. This is an exciting opportunity to help establish and grow a new pediatric practice while providing comprehensive primary care to infants, children, and adolescents in a welcoming, family-centered environment.
Our pediatric team is dedicated to treating every child as if they were our own and ensuring every family receives compassionate, personalized care close to home. Working collaboratively with experienced pediatricians, nursing staff, and care teams, the APP will play a key role in delivering exceptional pediatric care and promoting the health and well-being of our community.
Position Highlights

Epic electronic medical record (EMR)
Convenient access to the Atlanta metropolitan area
Responsibilities
Provide comprehensive pediatric primary care for newborns, infants, children, and adolescents
Perform well-child visits, preventive care, and routine physical examinations
Diagnose and manage acute and chronic pediatric conditions
Provide patient and family education regarding health promotion, disease prevention, and treatment plans
Order and interpret diagnostic tests as appropriate
Collaborate closely with pediatric physicians and interdisciplinary team members to coordinate high-quality patient care
Maintain accurate and timely documentation in Epic EMR
Qualifications
Required
Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program
Current Georgia APRN or PA license (or eligibility for Georgia licensure)
National certification as a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner (PNP), or Physician Assistant (PA-C)
Current DEA registration (or eligibility)
BLS certification
Preferred
Previous pediatric primary care experience
Strong communication and relationship-building skills
