Job Description

 

 

 The Nurse Manager is responsible for ongoing, effective operations and the assessment and improvement of activities. Such responsibilities encompass the internal functioning of the department, which facilitates the functioning of the overall organization. The Manager supports an organizational culture for Service Excellence and practices the Service Excellence standards to all customer groups.

 

Job Requirements:

Graduate of an accredited school of nursing

Current licensure/permit to practice as a Registered Nurse in the State of Texas

BSN required or must complete within 2 years

Current BLS certification or obtain within 3 months of hire date and maintain certification throughout employment

Minimum of 2 years leadership experience preferred

Appropriate clinical experience

PALS completion within six (6) months of hire or promotion, and maintain certification throughout employment

NRP completion within six (6) months of hire or promotion, and maintain certification throughout employment

STABLE within 12 months of hire or promotion; does not have to be maintained
