DP-COE (Digital Photonics Center of Excellence), being part of Keysight Technologies has the responsibility for developing innovative products in the crucial portfolio segment of Oscilloscopes, Photonics, AWG (Arbitrary Waveform Generator), BERT (Bit Error Rate Tester), Digitizer, Logic Analysis, Protocol Analysis which provide fast, extensive insight and enable engineering teams to do their job faster, with higher quality. We serve our customers in the Computer, Semiconductor, Wireless, Aero Space & Defense, Storage, Communication, Quantum industries with leading edge products and solutions. Job Description:

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced R&D engineer to work with our innovative team in developing cutting-edge software for Arbitrary waveform generators. You will utilize your expertise in software engineering, with a focus on developing algorithms and applications to create high-performance, scalable, and reliable systems that meet the needs of our customers.

The candidate will work closely with teams in Germany and US for executing the project.

Qualifications:

Essential:

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Electronics/ Electrical /Computer Science engineering or closely related field
• 4-8 years of experience in software development using C++/C#
• Experience in developing DSP algorithms using MATLAB
• Ensure performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications.
• Identify and correct bottlenecks and fix bugs.
• Help maintain code quality, organization, and automatization.
• Good experience of development tools and techniques - Version control (Git), Defect tracking (Jira), Requirements definition and product development models (Agile/Scrum)
• An understanding of electronic engineering principles, high speed digital design, and signal integrity. Experience in developing products in Test and measurement is an added advantage
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Excellent team-player, responsive and accountable

Preferred:

• Experience in complex HW/SW projects preferred. 
• Familiarity with Microsoft Visual Studio
• Strong background in RF & digital
• Ready to adapt to new programming environments
• Experience using Test & Measurement lab equipment
