NeuroHospitalist Hybrid – Wellstar Columbia County Hospital (Opening Fall 2026)

Wellstar Health System is seeking a Board-Certified/Board-Eligible Neurohospitalist to join our growing neurosciences team in Columbia County, one of Georgia's fastest-growing and most desirable communities.

This is an exciting opportunity to help build and shape an inpatient neurology program within a new state-of-the-art hospital while collaborating with a highly integrated multidisciplinary care team.

Position Highlights:

• Unique hybrid practice model combining both inpatient and outpatient neurology

• Four-week rotational schedule:

  • 1 week on / 1 week off providing inpatient neurology consultative services in the hospital

  • 2 weeks in the outpatient neurology clinic providing continuity of care and ambulatory neurology services

• Inpatient neurology consultative services

• Opportunity to establish long-term patient relationships through outpatient practice

• Collaborative practice environment with hospitalists, intensivists, emergency medicine physicians, and specialty providers

• Opportunity to help develop and expand a growing neurology program

• Supported by Wellstar's comprehensive Neurosciences Service Line

Qualifications:

• MD or DO degree

• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Neurology

• Eligible for unrestricted Georgia medical licensure
