Key Missions
We are currently looking for a Network Security Engineer within the IDEMIA IST division. This position will be based in Romania, Bucharest. Mostly on site.
Job Profile:
Collaborate closely with project, operations, and stakeholder teams to deliver network security solutions in line with project scope, SLAs, and business requirements.
Manage the full solution lifecycle, including design, implementation, troubleshooting, deployment, monitoring, documentation, and operational support.
Drive infrastructure standardization, automation, cloud migration initiatives, and continuous process and technical improvements.
Ensure compliance with security standards, certifications, and audit requirements (PCI/GSMA), while proactively identifying and mitigating risks.
Provide technical leadership through presentations, knowledge sharing, training, incident support, and participation in on-call and emergency response activities.
Profile & Other Information
Candidate Profile:
Between 0-5+ years of experience in a Network Security engineer role or similar.
Experience with Data Center Environments.
Routing & Switching: Aruba, Cisco.
Firewalls: Cisco Firepower (Must have), Forcepoint, Fortinet.
Wifi solutions: Aruba.
Experienced in delivering projects end-to-end, including design, implementation, migration, support, and optimization, while ensuring high availability and security standards.
Experience in operations: ITIL framework (& ITSM tools), leading major incidents, change coordination, stakeholder coordination, and problem management.
Strong knowledge: TCP/IP, BGP, VPN, NAT, ACL (must have), OSPF, MPLS, RADIUS, SNMP, LACP, SD-WAN\WAN.
Any network security certification is considered a plus.
