Job description
- Spearhead technical documentation initiatives, ensuring meticulous accuracy and completeness in project documentation, encompassing system designs, configurations, and troubleshooting methodologies.
- Act as the focal point for escalated technical issues, delivering expert-level support to resolve intricate network problems and incidents swiftly.
- Collaborate seamlessly with Level 1 and Level 2 network engineers to conceptualize and implement cutting-edge network infrastructure solutions, guaranteeing alignment with project requisites and industry benchmarks.
- Lead the strategic planning, design, and execution of sophisticated network architectures, encompassing high-availability configurations, network segmentation, and robust security measures.
- Mentor and empower junior network engineers through comprehensive training and knowledge sharing sessions, enhancing team capabilities and overall performance.
- Conduct regular evaluations and assessments of network performance and security posture, proactively pinpointing areas for enhancement and executing requisite changes.
- Engage actively in project deliberations and meetings, offering invaluable technical insights and recommendations to project teams and stakeholders.
- Remain abreast of emerging technologies and industry trends, assessing their potential impact on network infrastructure and advocating strategic initiatives to augment network capabilities.
- Foster and maintain robust relationships with vendors and third-party providers, ensuring seamless collaboration and support for network-related endeavors.
- Represent the organization as a distinguished subject matter expert in network engineering, showcasing thought leadership and contributing actively to industry discourse and events.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Telecommunications, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in network engineering, with a strong emphasis on designing, implementing, and supporting enterprise-level network infrastructure.
- Profound expertise in network protocols, technologies, and architectures, encompassing routing, switching, VLANs, VPNs, and firewalls.
- Extensive hands-on experience with Cisco routers, switches, and firewalls, alongside Aruba switches and wireless solutions.
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, adept at diagnosing and resolving complex network issues efficiently.
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal aptitude, proficient in collaborating effectively with team members, stakeholders, and external partners.
- Demonstrated leadership prowess, with prior experience in mentoring junior team members and leading cross-functional projects.
- Proven ability to work autonomously, adept at prioritizing tasks effectively and meeting project deadlines in a dynamic environment.
- Strong commitment to continuous learning and professional development, with a passion for staying updated on new technologies and best practices in network engineering.
- Preferred certifications include CCNP, CCIE, or equivalent.
