Therefore, on behalf of our client, we are seeking to recruit a Network & Firewall Engineer.

The client: A Greek Data Recovery Company established in Dafni (Attica).

The role:  As a Network & Firewall Field Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in designing, implementing, and maintaining network infrastructures and firewall solutions for company’s diverse clientele.

Key Responsibilities:

• Configure, deploy, and maintain complex network infrastructures.
• Set up and manage various firewall platforms, including Cisco, Watchguard, Palo Alto, Checkpoint, FortiGate, Cisco, PFSense etc.
• Implement VPN/IPSec Tunnel/VLAN solutions and network segmentation.
• Configure and maintain IDS/IPS systems and content filters.
• Be responsible for monthly monitoring, updating and automation of the reporting process.
• Provide basic IT support and hardware maintenance.
• Collaborate with clients to understand their specific network security needs.
• Troubleshoot and resolve network and security-related issues.
• Perform regular system updates, patches, and firmware upgrades.
• Assist in documentation and reporting of network configurations.
  
  

Requirements

• Greek and English Professional Verbal and Written communication skills is a must.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in setting up complex network infrastructures and firewall installations.
• CCNA certification is important for this position
• Proficiency in configuring and managing Cisco, Watchguard, Checkpoint, Palo Alto, Cisco, Fortigate, PFSense and other firewall platforms.
• Experience with VPN setup and network segmentation.
• Knowledge of IDS/IPS systems and content filtering.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Basic IT support and hardware maintenance experience.
• Ability to travel to client sites as needed and possess a valid driver's license.
• Relevant Firewall certifications (e.g., Cisco, Watchguard, Checkpoint, FortiGate, Cisco etc) are very important.
