About this opportunity:

We are currently seeking a talented and dedicated individual to join our Ericsson team as a Technical Authority Expert. This critical role belongs to our Managed Services department, directly contributing to our ongoing Ericsson Operations Engine projects. You will be at the forefront of tech-driven change, offering your specialist knowledge to guide the entire lifecycle of our projects. Whether we are in the Create, Sustain, or Evolve stages, your expertise will pave the way forward in your domain.


What you will do:

Strong experience with BGP and OSPF, Static Routes, Redistribute Routes, VRRP configuration and troubleshooting.
Proficient in routing protocols, IP addressing, and network architecture.
Familiarity with routing protocol tuning and optimizations (e.g., BGP attributes, OSPF LSA types).
Configure and manage F5 LTM for load balancing, traffic distribution, and application delivery.
Implement and optimize SSL offloading, SSL termination, and health checks for backend servers.
Troubleshoot and resolve F5 LTM-related issues, including iRules, virtual servers, and pools.
Ensure high availability and failover mechanisms for critical applications.
Experience in configuring and managing FortiGate Firewalls (hardware and virtual).
Knowledge of security policies, NAT, VPNs (IPSec/SSL), and advanced threat protection.
Strong understanding of TCP/IP, routing protocols, and network security best practices.
Fortinet NSE certification is preferred.

 

The skills you bring:

Experience with HPE switches, F5 LTM, and FortiGate, firewalls.
Knowledge of networking protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP/S) and network security best practices.
Experience with traffic management, VPNs, and firewall policies.
Relevant certifications (e.g., Cisco CCNA/CCNP, F5-CA, Fortinet NSE) are a plus.
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Manage firewall policies, VDOM configuration, VPN configurations, site-to-site/remote access VPNs, and ensure network security compliance.
Monitor network performance and resolve security and connectivity issues promptly.
