Title: .NET Architect

Location: Charlotte, NC​ & Dallas TX​

Terms: Direct Hire/Full-time/Permanent Position

Job Details:
​Responsibilities:
Work in cross-project teams, to plan, prioritize, and deliver application architecture, application design, templates, tools, services and applications
Collaborate with project teams to develop reusable components for next generation application suites
Make understanding business user requirements a constant priority and align application design with business needs
Should be able to devise multiple solution options along with justification, pros and cons for each solution for any customer problem
Mentor projects teams on best practices around application architecture, coding standards, naming conventions, cross-browser and multi-device compatibility, multilingual considerations, performance tips and tricks, troubleshooting and debugging techniques
Skills:
Excellent written/verbal/communication skills.
Expertise in the .NET development ecosphere using the C# language.
Advanced knowledge in building and deploying .NET based web applications using ASP.NET, ASP.NET MVC, WCF, and WebAPI.
Need to have PHP/Ruby experience.
Strong understanding of SQL Server development including SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS), SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS), T-SQL (DML, DDL, DCL, TCL), and performance tuning.
Strong understanding of common software design patterns.
Strong understanding of common software architectural patterns.
Experience with one or more modern MV-* frameworks with HTML5.
Experience with common SDLC tools such as Git based version control and automated build/release, preferably using Team Foundation Server (TFS).

Qualifications:
5+ years of experience in evangelizing architectures for user-friendly, complex and intuitive enterprise level desktop, web and mobile application using tools – e.g. Visual Studio, CAB Framework, SmartClient Framework etc
Need to have PHP/Ruby experience.
Comprehensive understanding and hands-on experience in desktop and interactive web technologies using various technologies like IIS, .NET, ASP.NET, ADO.NET, AJAX, JSON, LINQ, HTML5, WCF, WPF, Entity Framework, Enterprise Library, SAML, NHibernate, NUnit, JavaScript and JS frameworks (e.g. JQuery, Knockout), SAML ,REST/SOAP web services, SOA
Good experience in usage of third-party tools and libraries – Infragistics, Telerik, Kendo and templating engines – e.g. RazorEngine and CMS – e.g. Dot Net Nuke
Deep knowledge of latest in MVC, MVP, MVVM design patterns and methodologies – e.g. MVC4, Gang of Four, TDD, Dependency Injection
Acquainted with usage of configuration tools (e.g. TFS, VSS, SVN) and testing tools like Microsoft Test Manager
Broad knowledge and advanced skills in creation of custom controls, user controls, ActiveX Controls, delegates, authentication, exception handling, logging, security, RCW/CCW and installable/packages, parallel programming, multi-threading

Good knowledge of important architectural considerations for high traffic web sites like scalability, availability, clustering, load balancers, traffic delegation, CDNs, third-party storage services, cloud deployment and Search Engine Optimization
