Job description

We are looking for qualified NDT Inspectors to support non-destructive testing (NDT) operations on offshore pipeline welding for a laybarge-based pipelay campaign.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise NDT activities (UT,PAUT-TOFD, MT, PT ) in accordance with project-specific procedures and applicable standards.
  • Ensure inspection coverage aligns with ITP and client requirements.
  • Review and interpret NDT results, raising non-conformities where applicable.
  • Coordinate closely with welding and coating teams to support production workflow.
  • Ensure calibration of NDT equipment and maintain records of all inspections.

Requirements

  • 10-15 years’ offshore NDT inspection experience in pipeline projects.
  • 10 years’ experience as Client representative
  • Valid certification in UT, PAUT, TOFD, MT, PT to ISO 9712.
  • Familiar with offshore welding processes, laybarge NDT practices, and inspection documentation.
  • Excellent communication and documentation/reporting skills.
  • Offshore survival and medical certification (valid BOSIET/FOET with CA-EBS, OGUK or equivalent).
