Music Teacher

We are looking for a Music Teacher for an international school based in Chongqing. This position is available from the upcoming 2026-27 academic year in August 2026.

Job details

• Teach Music to students in secondary utilizing IGCSE and IBDP framework and ensuring an engaging and enriching learning experience
• Preparing lessons and lectures, tutoring techniques, designing and correcting assessments, and writing report comments
• Collaboratively teach alongside fellow educators, actively contributing to the development and enhancement of the school's curriculum
• Assess and monitor students’ progress and provide targets so that all learners can succeed and improve
• Provide clear and constructive feedback to students and their parents and caregivers
• Develop supportive and safe learning environments

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Music or related field
• Experience teaching IGCSE and IBDP in an international or bilingual school setting
• Strong classroom management and mentoring skills
• Background in leading orchestral music programs

• Monthly salary ranging from 26,000 to 42,000 RMB, comensurate with educational qualifications, professional experience, and interview performance
