Salary: £37,578.32 per annum

Shifts: 4 days on, 2 days off

Location:  Nathan Way, Thamesmead, SE28 0AB

What you'll be doing;

• Compliance with all Health and Safety policies and procedures

• Safe operation of the site, inclusive of personnel, and static/mobile equipment

• Compliance with the Site Licence and Management contract

• Control of traffic in/out the Transfer Station

• Compliance with all Veolia policies and procedures

• Monitor the quality of products to ensure that they meet pre-set specifications

• Load vehicles on the Transfer Station from the allocated waste stream

• Extraction of recyclable material from incoming waste

• Operate road sweeper machine to assist with site cleaning

• Assist with the safe movement of vehicles and pedestrians on site.

• The above is not an exhaustive list and you will be required to carry out other reasonable tasks as and when required by the site management

What we're looking for;

Essential:

• Wheeled Loading Shovel certificate

• 360 Excavator certificate

• Proactive attitude to Health and Safety

• Ability to optimise productivity

• Able to use your initiative

• Able to work as a member of a team

• Ability to work to input and output standards

• Be assertive
