We are looking for an MRO & Consumables Buyer to join our team in UPM Business Hub Wrocław, Poland.

What you will do  

• Support centralization activities of regional sourcing MRO scope (FIN & CE)   towards UPM Business Hub in Wroclaw 
• Be responsible for a selected Supplier Base / defined Material Groups 
• Support existing cross-regional/ business Sourcing and Maintenance Initiatives 
• Support local Purchasing departments with admin/ transactional work on request 
• Commercial responsibility (Negotiation / Contracting) for centralized regional sourcing activities (MRO) in Wroclaw 
• Optimize the selected Supplier Base towards sustainable Cost Savings and Efficiency Improvements along the Source to Contract Process 
• Be responsible for continuous Stakeholder alignment & networking 
• Monitor, report via agreed performance indicators (KPIs, PIs and measures), support / conduct Process optimization initiatives (Automatization / Digitalization), receive and solve internal and external escalations 
• Create Sourcing Synergies between the regions and businesses, implement a robust interface as a Service Provider toward the local Sourcing requirements 
• Keep the relevant IT systems (UP6 / Ariba) up to date 

Who you are 

• You have SAP knowledge 
• You have good English and German/Finnish language skills 
• You demonstrate strong communication skills, open-mindedness and      proactiveness 
• You have experience in purchasing activities 
• You are skilled in working with Excel (and other Microsoft programs) 
• You have some understanding of commercial issues 
• You are willing and able to travel

The position holder will report to Operational Team Lead.
