Join the Cleveland Clinic Neurological Institute and become part of one of the world’s most respected healthcare organizations. We are expanding with a new, one-million-square-foot, 15-floor, state-of-the-art facility on Cleveland Clinic Main Campus designed to elevate care for complex neurological conditions — including spine injuries, epileptic seizures, movement disorders, multiple sclerosis and stroke.
In addition to working in the new Neurological Institute, you will have opportunities to provide care across Cleveland Clinic Main Campus in areas such as Cardiac, Digestive Disease, Medical-Surgical and more. You will join a close-knit, hardworking and supportive team that values collaboration and consistently high-quality patient care.
Caregiver schedule: Full-time, Monday-Friday, 2:30 pm-11:00 pm and rotating on-call schedule
Incentives: Sign-on bonus of up to $5,000

A caregiver who excels in this role will:
- Acquire and review patient questionnaire, chart and data/requisition to determine contraindication of MRI examination.
- Perform MRI procedures required per protocol and perform daily QA.
- Educate patients regarding MRI procedures, equipment, and exams.
- Ensure patients' comfort and safety during and after the exam.
- Report any malfunctions and observe potential equipment dysfunctions and report problems or calls for service.
- Maintain available equipment up-time at the highest level for patient accessibility.
- Instruct and mentor new hires and Radiology students.
- Attend in-service programs and professional affiliation sessions.
- Obtain a certification in Magnetic Resonance Imaging: R.T.(MR)(ARRT) within one year of hire if not already credentialed
Minimum qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include:
- Graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology or graduate of an accredited institution per the primary pathway of the ARRT
- Hold one of the following credentials in good standing:
- ARMRIT Registered MRI Technologist
- ARRT Registered Technologist in Radiography, Sonography, Radiation Therapy or Nuclear Medicine: R.T.(R), R.T.(S), R.T.(T) or R.T.(N)
- Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist through the Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB)
- (CNMT) through the Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (ARDMS and NMTCB are primary pathways)
- Basic Life Support (BLS) through American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross certification
- Knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy and related pathologic processes
Preferred qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include:
- One year experience as a General Radiologic Technologist or experience in other imaging modalities

Physical Requirements:
- Requires standing and walking for extended periods of time.
- Must be able to lift or assist with lifting patients of varying weight and manipulate equipment daily.
- Requires frequent pushing and pulling of equipment up to 75 pounds.
Personal Protective Equipment:
- Follow standard precautions using personal protective equipment as required.
Pay Range
Minimum hourly: $35.25
Maximum hourly: $53.00
The pay range displayed on this job posting reflects the anticipated range for new hires. A successful candidate’s actual compensation will be determined after taking factors into consideration such as the candidate’s work history, experience, skill set and education.
