Role Overview:

The Motion Graphic Designer is a key contributor in a fast-paced, high-volume retail agency environment, responsible for producing video and audio deliverables while maintaining a consistently high level of quality and brand accuracy. The ideal candidate thrives under deadlines, works efficiently without sacrificing quality, and understands the unique demands of retail automotive marketing. 


Essential Responsibilities

  • Edit and produce short-form video commercials (majority are: 30 spots) 
  • Adhere to proofing procedures to ensure top-quality execution 
  • Execute creative that aligns with client brand standards, OEM guidelines, and campaign objectives 
  • Add motion design and animation throughout spots as required 
  • Manage multiple projects at once and hit tight deadlines in a production-driven environment
  • Maintain consistent quality control across all outputs
  • Apply motion graphics, typography, effects, and basic sound design to enhance messaging without sacrificing speed
  • Perform quality control on all deliverables, ensuring technical accuracy (format, specs, audio levels, naming conventions)
  • Collaborate with the Production Coordinators, Copywriters, and Leadership to ensure creative alignment & timely delivery
  • Contribute ideas for efficiency, templates, and workflow improvements to ensure the production team is as optimized as possible


Qualifications

  • 2+ years of professional experience with Adobe’s CC After Effects, Premiere Pro, Audition, Photoshop, and Illustrator required 
  • Automotive or retail experience is preferred 
  • ClickUp experience is a plus


Skills & Experience

  • Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (Premiere, After Effects, Audition, Photoshop, and Illustrator) 
    • Ability to use these programs efficiently to create technically pleasing, aesthetically well-structured and engaging spots 
  • Proficient with exporting different file types and sizes using Media Encoder 
  • Excellent time management and ability to prioritize in a fast-paced environment 
  • Clear communicator who works well independently and in team settings 
  • Strong understanding of the automotive industry and automotive marketing, including terminology, trends, trackers, etc.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational and project management skills, able to work well under deadlines, and perform multiple tasks effectively and concurrently
  • Skilled at striking the perfect balance between speed and quality
  • Stays informed of current client & manufacturer branding, campaigns, and goals
