This fast paced sales role works within a fun and team orientated environment but also provides the opportunity of financial reward through individual effort.
Responsibilities for the role of Mortgage Loan Officer:
- Interview Mortgage applicants to understand potential borrowing needs.
- Analyze and screen preliminary requests in accordance with industry regulations and established company policies.
- Manage & monitor loan process from application to closing, ensuring clear communication with all parties involved (Borrowers & Lenders)
- Advise applicants on available loan products, processing procedures, underwriting guidelines, and other Credit Union products.
- Meet annual sales objectives and revenue targets, where financial incentives are reflective of individual performance.
- Build network of clients and business opportunities through interacting with real estate agents, property appraisers and attorneys.
Requirements for the role of Mortgage Loan Officer:
- Three years of progressive experience in Conventional, FHA, VA, and USDA loan processing or as a Mortgage Loan Officer.
- NMLS license (Ideally)
- Strong organization skills, ability to self manage clients.
- Strong communicator, both written and verbal.
- Passion for success and working within a dynamic environment.
- A many hats approach.
