About the Opportunity
The Product Engineering Unit 2G3G4G is responsible for 2G, 3G, 4G RAN SW product development, release, and maintenance. More specifically, it consists of GRAN, WRAN, LTE RAN, 5G Plug-Ins and Massive IoT RAN. This organization also supports 5G (NSA/ESS) and common Requirement Areas (RAs). Part of product management responsibilities for 2G and 3G are hosted in this organization.
RCE GGG Production and System Test (PST) Sector is the Test Environment owner in PEU 2G3G4G. PST is responsible for 4G System Verification, Legacy Assurance Test and Test Environment Support.
BB Production team focus on baseband Module CI flow operation and Testcase Development. We contribute to entire RAN software product test flow, but mainly in SDC/SBC/BDC. Testcase Development handles BB module test case development and maintenance.
As the MSRBS BB Module CI Flow Guardian, you need to act according to the role's responsibility and promote the things we value, ethics and culture of the organization to ensure excellent performance.
What will you do
- Guarding BB/TC SDC Flow
- Surveil and maintain healthy environment (Network, CI machinery, STPs)
- Supporting AD/EPs and new tracks
- Reviewing any impact of binary testing , BDC, NBC flows
- Recovering failing STPs
- Uplifting Node Baseline
- Supporting BB MOM changes
- Create and Maintain CI Operations Scripts
- Coordinating deliveries that impact multiple components
- Working on SP/MR-related MOM changes, Netconf changes
- Working with developers and Node CI to ensure the delivery of dependent commits has minimal impact on the flows
- Soaking/Gating Test cases/suites
- Setting test cases to non-gating to unblock the flow if there is a need and it is approved by a Test Manager
- Performing soaking for new test suites/cases for new features, and making the tests gating when the soaking process is completed
