ModLab Specialist, Monetization Integrity (Mandarin Speaking)

About the team
The ModLab Team is responsible for establishing ground truth on advertiser behavior, acting as an essential contributor to defining actor/content policies and products. The ModLab Specialist supports TikTok's efforts to identify and quantify complex and emerging risk signals. ModLab Specialists review monetized content and account level information in continuous succession during each shift to arrive at decisions on actor/content level enforcement.

Responsibilities
- Review and investigate monetized actors/contents on TikTok's platform for behavioral trends to ensure compliance with TikTok's actor/content policies and standards.
- Perform targeted reviews, open-source intelligence (OSINT) investigations, etc. in order to ensure compliance by examining contents or actor accounts and their related characteristics.
- Serve as the point of contact for assigned projects, owning the end-to-end process and driving continuous improvements to enhance project outcomes.
- Develop reporting systems and analyze data, root causes and systemic gaps to drive improvement.
- Partner with cross-functional stakeholders to boost collaboration & enhance business operational efficiency.

Requirements

Minimum Qualification(s)
- High oral and written proficiency in Mandarin is required as this role will cover Mandarin-speaking markets amongst others.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in decision-making.
- Fast learning capabilities and ability to identify behavioural anomalies across large bodies of data. Demonstrated experience using data to drive decision-making and influence stakeholders.
- 3+ years of experience in Project Management, Operations, Risk or related functions.
- Strong expertise in risk assessment, governance and process improvement.
- Understanding of regional nuances in online behavior and cultural sensitivities.
- Familiarity with online advertising platforms and understanding of digital advertising practices.

Preferred Qualification(s)
- Prior experience in risk moderation at a tech or social media company is a plus.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to influence without authority.
- Project management experience, including planning, prioritization, stakeholder coordination, timeline tracking, and driving cross-functional initiatives to completion.
