What you'll be doing

You'll be the go-to plumber across a portfolio of commercial buildings in London and the Southeast, handling both reactive emergencies and planned preventative maintenance.

Your day involves diagnosing faults efficiently, implementing cost-effective repairs, and maintaining water supply systems, drainage, heating systems, and sanitary facilities across quality commercial properties. You'll respond to emergency callouts (including out-of-hours rota coverage), coordinate with site teams to minimize disruption, and maintain accurate records through JLL's computerized maintenance system via your company tablet.

This means working independently across multiple sites, making professional decisions, and being the face of JLL's engineering excellence to building occupants and clients. You'll provide technical advice, ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, and deliver the kind of service that keeps major clients coming back.

What we need from you

Essential qualifications:

• City & Guilds plumbing certification or equivalent
• Full UK driving licence (essential for mobile role)
• Minimum 3 years' commercial plumbing maintenance experience
• Preferably with facilities management background

Technical expertise:

• Knowledge of current plumbing regulations and building standards
• Understanding of water systems, heating controls, and commercial drainage
• Confident working on pressurized systems and complex plant room equipment
• Strong diagnostic and problem-solving abilities

Professional capability:

• Ability to work independently and manage your own schedule
• Strong prioritization skills for handling multiple urgent requests
• Excellent communication for client interaction and clear reporting
• Professional demeanor representing JLL on prestigious sites
